I keep a bloglines page where I read a bunch of other blogs NOT of livejournal ilk (though some of you show up in that feed too...).  One blogger I laugh at regularly and just have an affection for is Gone Feral.  Go check it out!

I love placentas.  I really do.  They are amazing.  I always encourage a mom to look at her placenta.  At one of my last births, mama wanted me to clean it and make it into a smoothie (which I did).  It was really neat to do that.  A placenta carries a lot of the energy of mama and baby and I was very protective of mama when I was dealing with her placenta.  It was interesting.
